Great HR Thought Leaders Series - Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter - Leadership and Innovation

Great Thought Leader Series: 

It it just amazing that there is so much HR thought leadership going on that the UK HR Magazine came out with a list of the the top Global thought leaders. So I spent some time reading about these folks and thought you might like this too! Just to disclaim, the original list is ranked via voting from the members.

Rosabeth Moss Kanter: 

Rosabeth Moss Kanter is a professor of business at Harvard Business School, where she holds the Ernest L. Arbuckle Professorship. In addition she is director and chair of the Harvard University Advanced Leadership Initiative. She has done a ton of HR studies - with a strong focus on Leadership studies. She has one of those amazing CV’s - where she has been awarded over 23 Honorary Degrees!She has written on a wide range of topics, so it is tough to narrow it down as to her major contributions - but probably the key one is she developed the Sociology Theory of Tokenism and how it can relate to positive work contributions. Since then, she has done a lot of work on how corporations drive innovation.
