I truly have been blessed in a ton of ways, to the point that I can do things like this Blog, meet amazing HR folks like you, speak at conferences, and oh by the way, get to work with some pretty awesome people at a really cool company! In other words, I know I am pretty lucky…. So I had an idea… One of the things that I do on the side (as part of a church ministry and for friends, etc) is often help them with their resume and their job search, and it’s a ball! It’s always fun helping people figure out, and then put down on paper how cool and amazing they are.
It’s about the Brand:
One of the things that may be different in my approach - is that I help people figure out their Brand. What are their gifts, and how do those gifts show through out their resume. As you can imagine, it is lots of fun helping people see how they have done cool stuff.
A series of Videos:
In order to share with more folks, I am putting together a series of videos that help people with their job search, resume writing and interviewing. And in order to make it super easy for folks - I have put them on my wife’s website, as downloadable, and for only $1.99. This is not intended to make money, as I am planning on donating the proceeds and just cover the website costs.
