The study came up in 2012, but I am guessing that it may not have popped up on your radar! The Cornell Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies (CAHRS) does an annual study of Chief HR Officers and what they are focusing on. This study is very candid and also breaks down how they spend their time.
I encourage you to bookmark CAHRS and see what research they are coming out with on a regular basis.
