The below link has a great story about a mining company that has instituted a 7 second appraisal form. Three quick questions and a quick scale of 1-4.

 

It raises a great question of the balance:

1. What does it look like for the employee?

2. What does it look like for the manager?

3. What does the resulting data look like to inform the enterprise strategy?
