China HR - Aligning it to Business Challenges - Good Lessons for Us

Piotr Bednarczuk has been with Hewitt quite some time, and for several years ran the Corporate Transactions team at Hewitt. I had the pleasure of working with him on a pursuit - and truly an analytical mind with an awesome understanding of HR. He has since moved to China to run AonHewitt markets there. 

I bring this up as he  published a really good article on the AonHewitt site about aligning HR strategy and Business Strategy in China. It is a great read, and not only gives some perspective on Chinese companies - but he provides a really solid approach that can be used in the US. As an example he provides a great example of how to interpret metrics.
