The US Skilled Labor Gap - the definitive research study!

If you are involved in workforce planning in any way, I strongly urge you to read this study from ACT. 

When I found it, I was puzzled as the last time I had heard ACT - was in High School when I was choosing between taking the SAT's or the ACT's. And Yep - this is the same group. It turns out that they do workforce development testing too. 

In this study, they do baseline testing within target sectors (e.g. manufacturing) to find the target ranges, and then compares that against the US testing data. The bottom line is that the results are pretty scary.
