Forbes did a great article on how Executive Compensation should be reconsidered.
"What is the likelihood that the Executive Vice-President of Human Resources, who reports directly to the CEO, would go forward arguing that the company should eliminate stock-based compensation? Close to zero. So there is a real stickiness problem."(Source: http://www.forbes.com/sites/stevedenning/2012/01/03/fighting-the-kool-aid-of-stock-based-compensation-qa-with-roger-martin/)
