PWC released an overview of M&A activity in China and it provides a great overview of the numbers, environment, deal culture and what sectors are moving.
To give some perspective, in 2010 there were over 4,000 deals value at over US $200 Billion - which was a 16% increase in deal volume and 27% increase in deal value over the previous year. This is compared to the US where deal volume has been flat year over year.
