China Expects Inflation to Keep Climbing for a While

China continues to be a focus area, and we all know the growth there has been rampant - but the growth is almost too much. Here are two new data points for you:

1. Inflation is almost at 6% for the year. China is going to have to work hard on it's monetary policy to keep what happened from India - happening to it's economy. There is rapid wealth growth occurring, increased money supply - all of which drives inflation.

2. Double Digit raises for Executives in China. Competition for seasoned Chinese executives is high - so this year's raises are in the double digit range (from Mercer)
