Big Data and HR? Can't we just call it Smart HR

There seems to be more and more articles about Big Data and how it is going to change HR, to include this quick Wall Street Journal Article (http://blogs.wsj.com/cio/2012/09/20/the-morning-download-big-data-and-the-cloud-transform-hr/).

But here is my gut reaction - this feels like the newest Buzz word - kind of like predictive Analytics. Why do we need to come up with bigger words to describe what it often really is - which is really Smart Analysis!
